Wayne Fortin graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State in 2009 and immediately went to work for Apple Inc, where he was a leader responsible for the growth and development of various cross functional teams. During Wayne's time at Apple, he went on to complete his Master's degree in Business Administration and turned his professional interests to Skilled Nursing so he could serve the community. Growing up, his mother spent an entire career as a Director of Nurses in Skilled Nursing Facilities. He fondly recalls meet and greets with residents in skilled nursing facilities starting at the young age of nine. He has trained in facilities that have a proven track record of five-star service in cities such as Pacifica, Anaheim, Long Beach, and Chatsworth. In April 2017, Wayne accepted the position as Administrator at Lomita Post-Acute Care Center which is also a Five-Star rated facility. Wayne thoroughly enjoys working with the patients, families, doctors, and associates and strives to continually provide five-star care and customer service. Wayne can often be seen working side-by-side with the nurses and visiting with patients and families throughout the building late into the evening. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, mountain biking, and traveling to new places.
